The 18th annual St. Barnabas Burn Center Benefit
New Jersey Firefighters' Ski Race
was held at Mountain Creek on February 11.
This year's Kinnelon contestants:
Bob Cashin, Steve Spinelli, Doug Roselius, Rich Griffin, Don Provost.
| Kinnelon's race time of 37.91 seconds put us in 19th place of the 76 teams racing. We had to run the race twice! Our first run time of 23 seconds so astounded the officials that they decided it was a timing error, over loud protests. |

Clifton's 30.68 seconds won the event. Second through fifth place trophys went to Jersey City Team 1, Rahway B Team, Monmouth Beach and Pompton Lakes.
